Agility is stimulating both physically and mentally, a perfect way to exercise and bond with your dog. Using positive reward based methods of training designed to build up and improve the dog's confidence; it can help a shy or nervous dog, or provide a great work out for a high energy dog.
Also, dogs with bored or destructive behaviours need to reduce their pent up energy and frustrations often linked with these unwanted behaviours. They will begin to learn control, disciplines and refocusing attention towards the owner for instruction and leadership. Obedience training can be combined into one-to-one obedience & agility sessions.
Beginners/Intermediate: every other Sunday at 12.30 pm
This is a great opportunity to join in training sessions
that will give you & your dog the basics in agility training, socialisation, obedience and fun all rolled into one...
Dogs can start beginners training from 10 months of age (however, they will not be trained over jumps until 12 months of age)
Whilst there is no upper age limit for agility your dog must be fit enough to undertake the basics - our agility equipment is adjustable to allow for all levels, sizes and abilities - the emphasis is on enjoyment, and allowances will be made for the older dog.
It is advisable for a 1-1 lesson be taken before joining the group sessions
Dogs must be friendly and be controllable off lead.
£7 per dog, per session
Advanced: every other Sunday at 11.00
please contact me for further details. These sessions are
geared towards the more experienced/advanced.
It's also a great opportunity to meet others, share tips & techniques
& join in our competitions afternoons...
£5 per dog, per session.
